Ivonbrook provides each client with a single room of their choice. Either en-suite or with a sink and communal bathroom.

Each room is furnished with a bed, plus linen, wardrobe, bedside table, chest of drawers and an easy chair, however clients own furniture can be accomodated to give a more homely look. Pictures and photographs can be mounted on the walls and shelves provided for ornaments.

Each room also includes a television aerial, telephone point and a nurse call system.

Lockable doors and secure storage can be arranged on request.

Meals

Residents are invited to eat in our dining rooms, but may choose to stay in the lounge or their own rooms, as they wish.

Breakfast is served between 7am and 10:30am, consisting of whatever the client wishes, cooked breakfast, continental etc. All dietary requirements are catered for and a vegetarian option is available at every meal.

The meals are of a high quality using locally sourced meat, brought in daily from  the high quality butchers in Darley Dale.

We have a four week rotational menu, which is updated regularly, residents have the choice to have the set menu, or request an alternative, and we will endeavour to meet their requirements.

Drinks are provided at mealtimes, mid-afternoon, evening, and on request.

Extra services

We provide a weekly hairdressing service at very competetive prices, in our own salon.

Chiropody is provided in the home every 8 weeks at a reasonable extra cost.

Optical services are provided by Visioncall, who call and see all the residents every 6 months.

Dental visits are arranged to Matlock dental clinic as requested.

Audiology, Occupational therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech therapy;  as required, through GP referral.

Holistic and Beauty therapy can be arranged privately, at an extra cost.

Newspapers and magazine deliveries are arranged on the clients behalf, from the local newsagents.
