Ivonbrook has a team of voluntary activity co-ordinators, who are dedicated to our residents needs and entertainment. They organise regular in-house activities, such as bingo,dominoes, memory quizzes, arts and crafts, and visits from singers and musicians.

The team also organise a varied itinerary of trips and excursions out of the home, utilising the local community transport minibus, over the summer months.

Non-demominational church services are given in the home on most Sundays by a local husband and wife who have supported us for many years.

At the moment, we are funding an arts, crafts, and musical entertainment programme run by the First Taste group. This has been on a rolling 3 monthly basis.

Ivonbrook also celebrates seasonal events, such as Christmas concerts, Easter bonnet making, Summer teaparties, which are open to residents and their relatives.

We also organise sales of clothing, and invite people to show their talents and expertise to the residents as an organised event. All events are advertised in the home before the event takes place, ensuring everyone gets the opportunity to attend them.  There is also a board in Reception which lists the weekly activities and is regularly updated.
