Ivonbrook Nursing and Residential Care Home is located in the tranquil setting of Darley Bridge, within the beautiful Derbyshire Dales. Easily accessible by car or public transport of both Matlock and Bakewell; and within walking distance of Darley Dale.

The home is on the edge of Ivonbrook woods and frequently enjoys visits from the wild deer, which roam around on the grassy bank, directly in front of the main lounge area, entertaining both residents and their families. Other wildlife favourites are the squirrels and many varieties of birds.

Ivonbrook caters for all clients, and their needs; including, residential care, nursing care, special dietary requirements; we provide most equipment; hoists, profile beds if necessary, bath hoists in all bathrooms and we also provide a quiet room with snoezelen sensory equipment, used for calming and soothing the anxious dementia borne illnesses.

History

Ivonbrook is a family run home managed by David Treasure and sons. The care home was opened in 1995 and has enjoyed fourteen years of successful caring for the elderly client.

Our Matron is currently Annie Poole, she has worked in the care home for many years, as a nurse, and has been promoted to her current position, in the last year.
